Thrift - My Rest is Over

So I've taken a short hiatus from thrifting and estate sales in part, due to slow sales and stinky finds. Don't worry the $700 jewelry box is still for sale at the old biddy shop but I did find a twin bed cover of colorful toy soldiers that reminds me of The Beatle's Yellow Submarine.

At my fave store picked up some Dansk candles and iron spider candleholder SOLD. A beat to hell "Blum's Fruit Cake" tin, couldn't resist the graphics SOLD. And last a German sheep mug illustrated by Gubor Tassen for Studio Fischer and Fischer SOLD. There is a large collection of varied animals.

  1. Great finds! I know thes mugs, they are very popular in Germany, but it is getting harder to find them. Have a nice weekend!

  3. I've almost been considering taking a break as well and concentrate on something else, it's been so tough out there. The etsy sales as well. Never heard of those German mugs b4, need to keep an eye out.. or NOT! ;) You may be happy to know I bought a few more mugs on Friday..
