Thrift - Sell Your Poop Art Here

More tins ... and some mugs ... Marimekko Christmas mug the other one was cracked, sadness. Christmas mug (I have a bunch of these somewhere) and a bright Taylor & Ng Christmas mug. Large T.G. Greene "Spectrum" sugar jar from England - the cork top needs a little help (thanks Sabvintagehome). A vintage poodle dish by Houze Art.

What! Yes that's another Boda Snowball (makes #16) I don't find much Scandi but Snowballs sure love me! I'm thinking the glass maybe iittala reminds me of "i-series" with it's very thin walls and base it better not be Ikea! The other matching glass was chipped even thought the thrift biddy tried to convince me I could file the large chip down.

Six panels of Poop Art for $75. I should sell my Poop Art too.

Thrift - Cuteness

Picked up a few cute things today. Matched pair of Irmi Nursery Plastics with lampshades that are usually missing. And I just found one the other week.

Found a lot of tins, hee hee my other problem. Set of vintage glasses sadly the one on far left was a victim of bad thrift store packing, sadness.

Ingera

Found 3 1/2lbs of Ethiopian fermented Ingera bread. We are going to be sooooo sick. Sick but happy.

Thrift - Apparently You Have To Be Rich To Shop At GoodWill

After dropping poop off at the vet stopped by a GoodW. Found some more wildlife glasses while I have many bears the owls will be new to our collection. Might have to thin out the set at home as this makes 15. They are very popular with the menfolk and are suited for any man cave.

Found a tiny Ultima Thule creamer, looked and looked for the sugar but I'm assuming the creamer was donated cause the sugar broke. Here's hoping I didn't miss the motherload that came in earlier.

Love the mod Thomas (later bought by Rosenthal Germany) tableset. Each teapot was $30. Each taped stack was $70. I priced out the large set at over $450. Who goes to GoodWill to spend that kind of $$$ on tableware? Is it just me or is that price just ridiculous?

Lots of Christmas at GoodWill!

Fail At Crappy Greek Estate Sale

After leaving the vet yet again stopped at a crappy Greek estate sale by my least favorite estate sale company. Everything was gold and white, low quality and overpriced. Passed on a small egg design Arabia casserole for $25. Picked up a vintage tea towel at a thrift store on the way home. Executor

Thrift - Once Again GoodWill Is Smoking The Crack Pipe

Found this little chipped Marianne Westman "Picknick" Rorstrand of Sweden porcelain piece. It's missing its lid as well but thought I'd add it to the few pieces of my collection. Love the blue packaging for the unused Swedish candle chimes and candles unfortunately GoodW put tape on it SOLD.

Some teak coasters SOLD. A little Putz German house. A Butticki figure from Sweden SOLD. And a nursery musical lamp.

Sadly passed on the Wendt Kuhn organ as it was missing all the angels and the music box was broken - gone by the following week. Passed on the trio of Tiki Libbey glasses even though I thought they were cool - gone by the following week.

Here are some crazy prices on stuff at GoodW. $350 for a trunk worth it cause it's $1000 on Ebay? It was gone the next week. Nope, it's still there stuffed in a corner.

Community Yard Sale

Went to my community yardsale this morning. Mostly kids stuff, clothes and plastic junk but did manage to find a few nice items.

Bonova enameled penguin pin. Little lone Russian nesting doll SOLD. Vintage Italian glass tree ornament that I have yet to find any info on...

Picked up the large Dansk stock pot from a young couple selling off some of their parents items SOLD.

Thrift - Fail

Well, I diddle and dawdled over this 1930s Silex vacuum coffee maker because it was missing the handle. When MidModMom recommend I go back for it someone had already grabbed it. Oh well.

Thrift - Vikings Ahoy

Drove 45 miles today. Stopped in an antique mall first and picked up a silk pink nautical scarf signed "Bell" for the sis. Jonathan and MidMomMod suggested I should most definitely get the Danish Viking ship linen runner. Appears to be signed: IH. Perhaps a Sodahl textile? SOLD

The only thing I found out of 4 thrifts was another Boda snowball this makes #15 (I found one yesterday as well) SOLD

At a consignment store found someones small Lucite collection. I don't think they knew what the items were but it was priced very high probably just due to coolness factor. Might post photos after Christmas, hee hee.

Thrift - My Mug Disease

Think I'm falling behind on my blog. Just a quick one today. At GoodW found four Ralph Lauren Polo mugs. You might remember that a few months ago I found four RL Tartan Wedgewood mugs and have finally listed them in my Etsy store. What I instantly fell in love with are these Mamma & Pappa Pizza shakers, they are unsigned but ever so adorable SOLD. I haven't been able to find any info but if you know something please leave a comment.

Passed on this chippy owl mug tree, plus, it weighed a ton and was missing mugs but I've never seen anything like it. You will be proud of me as I passed on more two mugs.

At my fave thrift store picked up four more Campbell's Kids mugs, SOLD I recently sold four in my store. The Boda snowball is a victim of the thrift store, someone dropped it because I dusted of the crushed glass chips. It's going into my snowball collection (14 now) they make a crazy winter scape on the table. Passed on yellow lotus bowls cause I just can't sell them and a Kromex kitchen canister set maybe by Lax?

This store usually brings out of baskets of donated bread, lets see how does one describe pigs at a trough? The manager had to yell out "Take only one or two" as people descended on the bread like a plight of locusts (why didn't I remember to take a photo?) I stood on looking as an ancient couple stuffed loaves and loaves into their backpack. So gross. Can you imagine if this country ever had a food shortage?
